I was left half, and sometimes left wing, yo. What's that in modern parlance?

I have a scar on my chin, where two sticks meeting the ball sent it flying upwards. I did not cry, being all stoical.

Is that astroturf you're playing on, hence the skinned knees?

My eyebrow scar was a plank, when I was five. The doctor wanted to swap me for one of his sons, because I had three stitches without anaesthetic and did not cry.

why don't you play any more?

I have lost my fitness. Something I said I'd never do, but life sometimes has cruel turns. But I'm playing table tennis again, which is a step in the right direction.

Which teams are you thinking of joining? And why them in particular?

Lol, very brave. I'm a bit of a wuss and have always refused proper stitches - just got butterfly ones or glue (I'm vain ( ... )
