This has been a largely uneventful day, predominantly because I didn't have half of my classes, for various reasons. It's been (and will continue to be) a good week for that.

Of course, the tradeoff is the midterm tomorrow and the one on Friday. And then having to do piles of SWAG homework and reading over the weekend.

I have had an epiphany.

Stories in which two lovers are separated by fate or circumstance and forced to leave each other and never meet again are much sadder and more moving and make me sob hysterically more than stories in which one of the lovers dies.

( Spoilers for everything. I fact, you should probably never read this, because there will be spoilers for SOMETHING in it, and you will read them, and then hate me forever. )
