Merlin catering to Will's feelings was completely wrong headed, I'm glad that Gwen poked at him about being stupid. Arthur not allowing Merlin to guilt himself out of the relationship was pitch perfect. That on stage kiss was delightful. Stick it, Will.

This made me laugh out loud: "It went well, then?"

"I'm not telling you that!"

"The play, Merlin." Lance getting cast in "Heroes" was the cherry on top of this confection. It was a real pleasure to read.

I'm so glad you enjoyed the story. This is so old, I had forgotten what a fun time I had writing it. I have a vague recollection that this entire fic was just an excuse to write that line about Lance at the end :D
