Thank you! I'm really glad you enjoyed it.

(and I think I love that last line more than the rest of the fic put together)

Four months late to the party, aw yeah.

I remember reading this fic! And I approve of anything that incorporates Shakespeare, even if, as you say, it is less actual Shakespeare and more much ado about nothing. Merlin seems destined to always nearly fuck everything up before he gets his happy ending, poor boy. And Arthur, not understanding what he did wrong and totally closing himself off because he doesn't want to be hurt any worse! God, these boys have emotional troubles.

And poor Will! I know that being Merlin's ex is practically his job in canon, let alone fanon, but I always feel bad when he genuinely wanted things to work out between them. Also, he would make a really excellent Puck. (I am picturing him in a sort of Peter Pan hat, actually, and it is making me giggle.)

And lol @ that Heroes reference at the end, which I definitely didn't get the first time I read this. (I can see why you spent the entire fic waiting for that line.)

...I'll stop babbling now and say, good work!

Hey you!

I adore Shakespeare, and my best friend is a drama freak, so when I came up with this, she was all, "Do it, DO IT NOW. NOWNOWNOWNOWNOW." And I couldn't resist making it one of those awkward romances, because things are always like that in real life.

I probably should have done some kind of resolution with Will, but at least I didn't kill him off, which gave me the chance to dress him in hairy trousers (extra schmexy).

Ack, I love that line hard. Why did you have to die, Issac? Why?!?!

Thanks for coming back to comment! I'm such a bad reader - I almost never comment and it fills me with guilt. And thanks for the feedback, much appreciated.

Shakespeare is my favorite! I have vague memories of a Merlin/Hamlet crossover, with Arthur going around being broody, glaring at Uther, and Morgana spouting nonsense and Merlin as Horatio trying desperately to keep everything together. I wish I remembered if this was a real fic- I can't seem to find it anywhere and I'm getting the suspicion that this was a dream I had, or something.

I admit that I have seen very little of Heroes, but I've seen pictures of Santiago Cabrera covered in paint, and let me just say: hot damn, artist is a good look on him. So sad that he dies.

My comments, when they come, tend to be long months after the fact, which I make up for by babbling in them a lot. :D

That was fun. I loved the interactions and the guilt and the misunderstandings and Gwen, Lance and Morgana were awesome. Thank you for a fun read.
