Okay, I know  I haven't worked on the meme in a while and I'm gonna start it again soon. But I also want to focus on other stuff. This.

I can't stand most modern cartoons (Wild Kratts is the exception for me, as well), either--they're mostly so crass and gross, as you said.

I grew up on DuckTales and Darkwing Duck, as well, but I also watched the Nelvana adaptation of The Adventures of Tintin, which was an early 90s adaptation of a very old Belgian comic book series--I highly recommend it.

because PBS has lost it since I was younger

This, too. I miss Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego and Kratts' Creatures oh so very much!

I can go all day about how cartoons, heck maybe entertainment in general, has lost it. I think the two main factors is 1, they've ran out of good ideas and 2 and the main reason, because the executives only care about money.

I used to love Darkwing Duck! Sadly it and every other cartoon I liked isn't aired anymore. Though luckily there's YouTube and some DVD releases.

Just about every channel I watched has lost it. I could rant about that but that's for another entry.
