True. Of course she's free to be disgusted by whatever she likes, but to project to her own self-loathing onto innocent people (and for marie claire to give her the platform for it!) is just wrong and not something that should be tolerated. I enjoy freedom of speech and I think everyone is entitled to it, but now more than ever we're seeing the effect that words have on people and I'm just thrilled to see so many people tearing her to shreds over hers. It's comforting to think that so many people were disgusted by it.

I have to admit that article made me shake my head and chuckle. Guffaw even, in my jolly way.

She actually uses the "I'm not racist fat-ist, I have black plump friends" line. I CAN'T EVEN.

And my personal favorite, "Well it's just not healthy. I am CONCERNED for this stranger's well being and heart health" I say as I chain smoke and would consider suicide if I gained 50 lbs.

Whether or not they are obese is a moot point. I can tell by looking at them that they absolutely qualify as "obese" according to the medical term. But that doesn't mean that they should stay off the tv and indoors where no one has to look at them. That's so offensive and really speaks to what a sick and twisted person this author is.

Yeah, she's a seriously bad person and I will take my body anyday over her personality. I cannot imagine living each day with that sort of hate in my heart. It makes me happy that my biggest complaint is my fat ass. Makes me feel like I'm doing pretty damn good.
