Sho knows it's time to quit being a host when he starts seeing Chisato in the faces of all his clients. Chisato hurt, Chisato sad, Chisato rapturously happy - it didn't matter, his head was filled with thoughts of her and it was becoming harder and harder to feign enthusiasm and pretend to be someone's romantic ideal when he was actually in love with the most irritating, soft-hearted, irresistible girl on the planet.
He resigns his position at the club three days later, after reassuring his boss that no, he wasn't being recruited elsewhere, and it was just high time to hang up his shiny suit.
Okay, so give me some Sho/Chisato, post show, where they're discovering just how much they belong together...and stuff. As porny as you feel comfortable writing! PLEASE?!
it's simpler in moonlightcalledinvainJune 21 2009, 07:49:56 UTC
It's been five months since they kissed, and Sho still thinks about it, especially at night when the stars are out.
Call it instinct, call it hope - the moonlight and the stars had all conspired - or was it inspired him to do the one thing he never thought he would, and now he was wondering when he was going to do it again.
Even after the real truth comes out, Sho finds himself drawn to Chisato, like she's even more a part of him than he realized. He's aware of her hands, the soft tousled hair she wakes up in the morning with, the sharp tilt of her chin, and how she always seems to be smiling. Chisato is prettiest when she smiles, he told her once, and he's pleased to see her following his advice.
Before, he took every casual gesture for granted - when he brushed against her shoulder, or held her by the elbow so she wouldn't break her hand against Fuu's face, that every touch was simple and thoughtless.
Now that he's in love, now that he knows he is, he's much more careful. He doesn't know if Chisato has ever been in love, or

She smiles a little, and then squeaks, because Sho's reached his bed, and the mattress creaks when he eases himself onto it. "No, keep your eyes closed," he says quickly, and Chisato frowns. "I didn't come here to sleep with you, I hope you know that."
"I know that," Sho retorts. "Come on, we haven't even gone on a date yet, I'm not that kind of guy."
"Oh," Chisato says. "Well, okay then."
"I could always break the rules for you, though," Sho says cheerfully. "Kidding, kidding."
When he's sure she's not going to bolt, he releases her left hand. Then he slides his ring off his thumb, and slips it onto hers. Chisato's eyes immediately open and she looks down at her hand and then at Sho.
He flicks her nose. "Consider this a promise."
"It's a little loose," she says doubtfully, and plays with the ring.
"Well, one day, I'll buy you another one that fits," Sho says slowly. "But you can't take this one off until then."
"Is that so," Chisato murmurs.
Sho nods. "Oh yes. This time I'm going to do it in the right order."
