I'm really mad about how boring The Walking Dead can be. I FUCKING LOVE ZOMBIES, WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS??? Admittedly I've been meaning to read the comics so maybe that will help a little, but I shouldn't have to in order to enjoy the show.

I kind of dropped Downton two episodes into this new season, but that picspam is stunning. Seriously, you are amazing with Downton caps, dang. Your Parks&Rec picspams are the best, as always!!

It pains me. Like, physically pains me. I don't understand it at all. I was tempted to check out the comics as well, but I don't know where I can fit in the time to read 90+ issues. On the bright side, at least it's filmed well. I've been slowly capping the first season from a Blu-Ray source, so there's that. Eh.

I don't blame you at all for dropping Downton. I mean, I still get a lot of entertainment from this show, but it's almost in spite of other things or in an ironic "taking amusement from its ridiculousness" kind of way. It's odd. I came to the realization a long time ago that as long as Lady Mary/Michelle Dockery remains flawless, there are a lot of things I can ignore or excuse.

I'm so sad people are moving to tumblr. I get it though. I'm just not very good at tumblr unless I become obsessive but then I get bitter over things so it's kind of a vicious cycle I try to avoid.

I'm almost at the point where I don't pay attention to Rob Lowe's parts AT ALL. That bums me out and I want him GONE GONE GONE UGHHHHHH. But Ben and Leslie and Andy and April are perfect and I love them so much and they make me so happy. I agree the last two eps have been a bit repetitive with the Ben/Leslie bits but that fact they went 4 or 5 episodes with hardly any interaction I'm kind of okay with it.

p.s TWD is okay is you fast forward through everything non-zombie. It takes like 4 minutes to watch the whole ep and since the plot doesn't ever move you miss nothing!

It makes me sad too, not going to lie. The great thing about Livejournal is that it tends to foster more discussions in an easier format. I much prefer responding to comments on a post than filling up people's dashboards with endless reblogs and ask responses. This place has got progressively emptier for the past two years and even though I've contributed to that a little, it still makes me sad.

Rob Lowe is unnecessary at this point. He has served his purpose. They keep giving this guy his own subplots in each episode and I just cannot deal with it anymore. Where are Donna's storylines? Or how about some more April? She hasn't had as much time to shine on her own this year outside of Andy. I'm counting down the days until he gets bored and quits. But anyway. As much as the repetition with Ben/Leslie did bother me a little, I can't even get upset about it, because I have missed their interactions dearly.
