So Barzak is from your hometown? What did you mean about the author sequels tainting memories of the first book... ?
If you liked this, I highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend The Love We Share Without Knowing. It's a beautiful piece of work. :)
The advantage to the Dares is that I'd already read and liked them. I didn't have such an advantage with the book club selections, sadly. :) But on the whole, the dares did seem to be more of a hit. :)
