Im voting for Infidel because I have just read it and because its a really good series that needs more exposure and I am really looking forward to the last one and seeing how it all ties together

Heh. I can appreciate that, but that also means if Hurley's wins, you won't be challenging yourself. ;)

OMG did we read the same Hurley? Her work is SO Challenging to read and I need to go back and read the two of them together back to back to get the right feel for them. The brutality and style of writing is such a challenge, its so different from anything else!

Oh, the author herself is VERY challenging, no doubt! GOD'S WAR was one of the most challenging books of the year!

I was actually referring to the voting of something you've already read (easy) versus picking something you haven't read and therefore don't know what you'll be in for (hence, the "challenge").

Of course, if INFIDEL gets picked and you decided to re-read both books, that will DEFINITELY be challenging!

strangely, all but the first were already on my to red list...

but the Kress is the one i REALLY REALLY want. i'm more interested in Valente's nexter Girl In Fairyland book than Deathless [but still very interested...]

Ah! So this is what your were hinting at. Obviously, my vote's for Eona, but I'd be happy reading any of these, except Deathleess (which I've already read).

Deathless has been in my TBR pile forever and I really, really want to read it, so that's my choice. That said, any of the others would be my first choice in any other month. This is an awesome set of books.

Wow, this is a tough choice and it's my theme! Of course I am happy with any of these, but I voted Eona since I thought the discussion was really good on the first.
