As your aware, I've been reading and enjoyed this comics for the past month or so, glad to see you like them.
As for Once Upon a Time and Grimm, I've seen a handful of episodes of each. Once Upon a Time has the biggest similarities as it features Fairy Tale characters that are stuck in our world against their will. Form what I've seen, Grimm's major similarity is it features a reformed Big Bad Wolf character. Beyond that, they're not hugely similar (especially Grimm, which is really more of a police procedural with monsters) but neither of them are of the same quality as the comics.
Good to hear that about the tv shows. That was the impression I'd gotten from what I'd heard about them, but I've also heard that Willingham is rather crushed about the whole thing, and honestly, I can't blame him for feeling that way. :)
I was going to say the same thing temporaryworlds said about Grimm--that is, it's a police procedural with monsters in it. The plots of the episodes themselves are loosely based on various fairy tales
