It’s been so long that, though I am going to attempt a recap of what’s happened since I last showed up here (March), I am certain to miss a million things. And I have no real excuses-just busy, crazy, life, etc etc, the usual. That is all.

having grown up in Sellwood, the city is becoming a horror... there are no working class neighborhoods anymore.

No pressure, but if you do swing by more often that would be lovely. Glad to hear things are going well. I'm shocked, though, at your description of Portland. I'd started thinking of it as a little American Eden, so it's sad to hear it's not what it was.

Portland still has a lot to recommend it--I find the weather fantastic, and there are amazing restaurants everywhere, and no sales tax, and it's groovy and weird and liberal--but the population explosion is very, very noticeable.
