Have I mentioned recently how I totally misjudged Jared's acting as souless!Sam? I did.

Yes, looking back, he was doing a fantastic job of playing soulless Sam pretending to be Sam. Playing a character trying to play your character. And of course I loved him the instant soulless Sam stopped pretending and was crazy in all his soulless glory.
