SPN 6x14 - "Mannequin 3: The Reckoning"
The title for this ep is ridiculous, I'm just saying.
I find I don't like the lines that become the big fandom one-liners, you know? Also, Sam's hair looks sad this episode. Sad, limp Sam hair this ep.
Anywho. I'm definitely pleased with this one, and the creep factor hit an all time high for moving mannequins. *shudder* I totally called it when they started zooming in on the muscle mannequin, but like starshipbadass was yelling in my ear, OH MY GOD IT SMILED. ackackackackack.
I'd just like to mention that I went downstairs to leave a video game in my brother's room, after watching this ep, and on his entertainment system is a jack-in-the-box from Assassin's Creed. Key in the slot, Jack popped out. I don't know how he can sleep in there with that thing. I'd be too freaked.
Back to the ep. Sam being all suspicious and stalking that dude is so classic!Sam. ♥__♥ LOVE. I think there was some really clever writing in this episode - making steps towards resolving the Dean/Lisa thing, (I was shouting MAN UP every time Dean's phone rang) Sam being on a solo hunt that shows us that he's truly back to his soul-filled self. I know that if we hadn't been given something like this, I'd be super skeptical.
Have I mentioned recently how I totally misjudged Jared's acting as souless!Sam? I did. I'm sorry, Jared. I was worried you were going off the deep end, but no, you were just being fantastic about it. Are you losing weight? You made an unintentional Blue Steel face in the ep when you were talking to that woman. :/
Writers! Clever, clever, clever with the kidney. I was so fucking pleased when this came to light. It was like at the end of Megamind with the falling into the fountain bit. Brilliant and clever. Unf fucking unf. I also didn't see the mannequin!wife coming at all, but OHGODNOWHYOHGOD. What a creepy episode, fuck.
Two minutes blacked out = two weeks? D: Sam.
Y'know, I get that Sam was in Lucifer's box and all that, but Dean didn't get any of this treatment when he came back from hell. Just saying.
What is with the blatant use of the EMF? And was it always that loud? XD; If it's not annoying as shit cops, it's dumb cops. Siiiigh. ALSO. ISN'T JARED STILL WANTED FOR ARREST. THE FUCK?
All in all, good episode. IDK what happened with last weeks, but this was really great. :3
There should be some pretty fabulous Sam!Hair next week. And collective mass hysteria from fandom. Woosh.
