I was going to open this entry with "so, it's pretty common knowledge that I think McCoy is a hot sonovabitch," but then it occurred to me, there's no 'I think' about it. It's fact. So, let me start properly. Ahem.

So, it's pretty common knowledge that Dr. L. McCoy is a hot sonovabitch. That being said, whenever I read a fic about him being a ( Read more... )

I really need to start watching Supernatural. A gif of Dean kicking down doors would make an awesome introduce-yourself icon. :O

I'll read through these recs later. ♥

YES YOU DO. I should find out what program I can use to make my own little animations... Then I'd have freaking gifs for everything, though. DX

:D ♥

I haven't seen the Star Trek movie yet but McCoy is the one played by Karl Urban, right? I loved Karl Urban since he was Caesar on Xena and I agree, he is so totally hot.

Aww, first season Dean. A gif of him kicking down doors would be so cool.

WHY YES. But DeForest from the original series was pretty damn awesome, too.

Caesar was amazing. Do you remember when he played Cupid in Xena? XD That was pretty awesome, too.

I found a youtube vid of door-kicking, but it tried to be funny at the end and it kinda ruined it. :/ I want to see Dean kick down a door before the end of the season. I don't care why, or where. I just want it to happen.

Oh god yes, with him walking around shirtless all the time. :D It took me a ridiculously long time to figure out that Karl Urban played them both. They just looked and acted so totally different and one day I looked it up and I was like OH, DUH.

I have Star Trek waffles.

Upon their arrival, I immediately sorted through them. Alas, only two Kirks (one bust and one cocky captain-in-his-chair pose). The rest were Enterprises and communicators and planet Earths. Upsetting, but I ate the Kirks anyway. They were happily smothered in corn syrup.

:D

DUDE. I didn't get any captain-in-chair poses in mine! But I did get Scotty and Bones and Spock, so. >_>

Ah, I just saw Faith and realized how much I missed the boy's hair and high voices. I need to get the DVD or something...

Mm, yes~ DVDs are so worth it, I think. I miss their silly faces and funtimes. Doesn't happen so much anymore. :(

I'm on S3 of SPN now! I thought I'd let you know. Still early in the season though. And yes, they do shoot ghosts a lot! or did. With salt!

It was sort of, like, watchable, spooky, but I still didn't quite "get it" but now I think I get it. S3 is lovely and fun and I love all of the illegality of it all (never saw Mulder and Scully do half this stuff!) and the character growth and the chemistry that develops between them! (no I still don't ship it. but the chemistry!) And I do like Dean I do I really do. Badass. :D

\o/ Crossroads demons! Lemme know when you come across the Ghostfacers. :D

Man there's so much illegal activity in SPN. Between aliases, scaaams, impersonation, stealing, b&e... I love it. But that's because they're not FBI like M&S (they were FBI, right? I never watched X-Files).

I don't ship it, either. But I'm a huge fan of SamandDean. :D Dean is definitely my favourite, but sometimes I just feel so bad for Sammy. XD;

Yep! And I hear it just gets better from here on out, so I'm looking forward to getting to S4 and caught up. XD

Yeah, M&S were FBI. It put a pretty heavy cap on what they could and couldn't do to find things out; I feel like the Winchesters can be so much more flexible in their investigations because they're not afraid of going morally grey. I'm also noticing some of the same names in some of the production or writing credits from X-Files (at least, I think so?) so the similarities between the shows really don't surprise me either.

Hee, SamandDean, exactly like that. I just like the brotherly chemistry that they have, and especially like that I don't ship it. It actually makes it more fun for me (which is interesting because usually shows get more fun for me when I do have a ship to root for -- but here, I don't even need it).
