Coulrophobia - n., an extreme fear of clowns

Bodach - n., something that will actually eat you while wearing grease paint if you don't chop it into pieces first

[ooc: It was either this or the original Niko, "Honk, honk," which I just can't bring myself to do.]

super sexy boogeyman slayer, sometimes he's a sadist, big brother, oh my god he has a sense of humor, carnival brat, walking encyclopedia, bodachs, monsters according to niko

Wait there's a name for killer clowns?

No, there's a name for a particular type of monster that disguises itself as a clown.

This is depressing.

Depressing and horrifying.

Of clowns or things with bloodstained teeth?

I think it's the ones without bloodstained teeth I'd be wary of. They obviously haven't eaten yet.

Not necessarily. Bodachs don't brush.

Nri-chakshas. Rakshasas and Rakshasis.

Apparently, everybody loves a clown.

Not everybody.

I'll grant that it's a convenient disguise.

I think we may have brushed up with some Bodachs before. My memory isn't what it used to be.

Ours was a nasty piece of work. They're supposed to be the Hindu equivalent of demons. Come from Buddhist Hell, and hell, maybe they really do. Sleep on a bed of dead insects, have venom in their fingernails, sustain themselves on the flesh of humans. Like to try to pin me to walls with throwing knives.

I still love circuses.

Ours resemble mummies dipped in blood then left to dry in a compost heap. The only sure way to kill them is to reduce them to chum, and it's preferable you do so before they have a chance to locate residential neighborhoods.

I can't say that I find the circus much of an attraction.

Which is why I killed so many of them.

Some of them did bleed in colors.

You should practice some self-control.

I only hunted the naughty ones.

Bodach, huh. Don't think I've ever seen one of those in real life.

cal_sitter May 25 2009, 23:56:44 UTC
You tend to smell them first.

Aren't those the fun ones? An yours were masqueradin' as clowns?

It's one way to appear human and lure a child outside.
