Knowing this, Jee Nah, the loyal but ambitious Argonian ranger promptly completed the purification quest, brought them all back to life (even the asshole Khajiit) and no one held it against her. It still counted as complete. She did the same thing with the Draconis family and all of the later contracts, 'cause damn do I feel like a heel every time I kill them. Anyway, now she's the Listener and the Sanctuary is bustling and full of life, as it should be
OMG so jealous. Purification makes me cry - and oh, I hate killing the Draconis family.
Loving Skyrim so far.
Still haven't been brave enough to read Snuff. Although instead I'm reading Rilla of Ingleside, which I loathe, so I should, really.
It really is the best spell ever. All of the fun of being an assassin with none of the guilt! And for my good-aligned characters who do the main quest, it means that Baurus and Jauffrey get to live through the siege of Bruma.
It took me a while to get the courage to start on Snuff, too, mostly 'cause I was (and still am) afraid that Vimes would die. It's turning out to be a lot of fun, though.
