It may be out of place for me to judge something that features someone whom I've never seen before, but meh. To hell with that. I'm going to throw my opinion out there anyway because at least you'll know that it's completely unbiased.

The first banner is very well done; I love the colors used, along with the text. Although I'm sure that, Dean, would be able to provide a convincing argument to that statement. XD

As for the showcase banner: Once again I'm impressed. You're successfully demonstrating some of your best work.

wow! gorgeous banners. i love the colors and textures. and the way you blend in the words is a masterpiece by itself and so your trademark. i love how you blend in the brushes and textures with the pictures. great work!

It's funny, actually - I've had people say that to me before! Like, they'll know someone's sig has been made by me when they look at it, or they'll be scrolling down their Friends Page, spot something and think 'Hey, that looks like Cat made it. . . Hey, Cat did make it!' ^_^ Lol!

[To my mind, the text isn't as important as the sentiment [having it fade, certain bits being less legible than others, etc] knowing what it means even if it's not specifically what it says. As for colours? I think I tend to go a bit berserk where they're concerned. ^^']
