[It's worth noting that since Luke's voice is slightly hoarse and a little deeper from whatever he's infected with, he sounds just like Asch. Maybe slightly more raspy, but otherwise he's pretty spot on and doesn't even know it.]
[Come on Luke, even Ion makes filters better than that when he's sick. Okay his was only 2% better, but give the kid a break here. He's pretty sure he knows how Luke got sick, which only makes thinking of the right thing to write even more difficult.]
Shall I ask Anise to make you some soup? It always makes me feel better.
[Ion he is not in the MOOD to write. D| But he just gives the journal a look before he realizes that Ion can't really do anything else... so he wearily reaches over to grab a pen, then writes in return with even worse handwriting than usual.]
[You try being happy when you feel like you're dying or something! Luke considers that, but then the decision is already made when he starts to cough harshly. ... Maybe he should stick to writing. No sense letting people hear just how bad it is.]
[The unfortunate thing about these journals? Even when writing, they'll still pick up sound. And Luke's cough came through loud and clear. He's not even going to bother hiding the look of concern on his face.]
Perhaps you should try taking a nap? The only way to get better quickly is to sleep through it. [Which is technically not quicker, you're just not awake for most of it.]
Every time I try I just- [There's a few more little coughs, and he holds his chest and just. Burrows under the blankets. Uuuugh.] -keep waking up. And I already took a nap...
If you don't mind that I won't be very talkative, I could come by and bring you something? It would be no trouble at all. [And if you refuse he is so telling Guy you got up when you were sick.]
You don't have to worry about me. I just want to help you feel better, Luke.
[He can already hear Anise scolding him about this later, but... well, it's his fault Luke got sick in the first place! At least, that's what he's thinking right now...]
[It's almost ridiculous how happy it makes Ion to know he'll be able to help Luke. It won't be enough to make up for him having saved his life the week before, but it was a start!]
[Soon enough, Ion's at Luke's bedroom door, gently pushing it open while he knocks. He brought a large thermos of hot water along with a few packets of cocoa mix and tea, so Luke could choose whichever he preferred.]
[He almost starts to say something, a greeting, before quickly remembering it wouldn't be heard anyway. And so he settles for a smile.]
[He pushes himself up from under the blankets - in pajamas with his hair everywhere, but it's nice to see Ion up and healthy, so he can't help but smile.
Shall I ask Anise to make you some soup? It always makes me feel better.
