So the other day I went on a bit of a therapeutic shopping trip (the boys said I needed one) to Target, of course. And, among an awesome new water bottle, some Disney Princess Band-Aids and bug spray, I bought myself a cute little, red, 6-cup rice cooker. I'm way excited. I have a feeling the whole killing Harry Potter thing might just be a rumor set up by J.K.'s marketing people, because wouldn't it be funny, with all this talk of killing him, if the last book ends with Harry staying alive and well and becoming a defense against the dark arts professor or something?

And yeah, that's my sentiment exactly on brown rice. Sticky Rice all the way!

Hooray for Safeway! I love that when you have their club card, they tell you "thanks" after you've made your purchase. Unfortunately, since the card is in my parents' name, the sales clerk will call me by my mom's last name unless I use a credit card.

Eew, Splenda is gross. Real sugar is way better. :)

Oh, come on. Brown rice is good. Sticky rice is better, of course, but I lurve brown rice. :D

Ew. Brown rice is... well, brown. The only really good thing that is brown is also chocolatey. Brown anything else is bad. Brown fruit, brown veggies, brown plant gunk... Okay, well brown bread is okay, too, but not brown rice. Just ew.

Also ew. You are disgusting in the extreme. No wonder Hell is so damn hot.

Of course he isn't going to die, the bitch is too stubborn. Harry, that is. He's the bitch. Right. Anyway.
