Stupid question

IF Ukitake Juushiro has tuberculosis I have a few questions:

• Did he get it when he was alive? or was he born dead?
• If he got it when he was alive, why does he still have it when he's dead?
• If he got it after he died, are the bacteria ghost bacteria?
• If he was born 'dead' then the same questions apply.

I've often wondered that same thing too. I think it's one of those things we'll never find out.

Things we never find out....like more about kagome's dad, huh? :D

I'd thought about working on a crossover between these two, but I didn't really understand how disease worked in Soul Society and I haven't been able to get a hold on the fanfiction 'constants' of Bleach yet either.
