I just finished cleaning out the downstairs freezer, and added up my list. Between the regular fridge/freezer and the chest freezer in the basement, I lost $152 of food in last week's power outage. Eek. It sounds like insurance might pay for some of it, but still

I have the means for making cocoa even without fridge or freezer items. Good cocoa, even.

Good to know. I usually make good cocoa with milk and Ghirardelli powder (the kind they used to use at Borders), but it's expensive, so I use Hershey's syrup sometimes.
