I have a Fourth of July fic I'm working on, and I'm kind of ridiculously excited about it. Let's hope I can finish in time... Yes, it cooled off. And I slept. And decided to take tomorrow off.

I'm much more cheerful today, obviously.

It was, in fact, in the 90s today. It's cooling off outside now, but we'll see if my room cools down enough to let me get any sleep. I just checked the ten-day forecast, though, and the daily highs are all from the mid-sixties to low-seventies. That's much more acceptable.

Really? I don't approve. Really, I never approve of it being that warm, but especially not in April.

I was all set to finally go volunteer at the elementary school this morning, after missing several weeks because of work, and they have a snow delay. Bah. I miss my reading buddy.

I usually love winter. Really. So I don't know what's wrong with me. All of a sudden, I am very very ready for it to be spring. It's like a switch just flipped in my head or something. So I started knitting a spring sweater, in hopes that my current mood will make me actually finish the thing by the time it's warm enough to wear it. It's this one ( Read more... )
