This is my first Christmas season in four years that I haven't worked at Starbucks. Kind of strange, honestly. I really really liked working there during Christmas. And I just really miss working at a place like that, I guess. Working in a law office with only two other people is worlds different. Good colleagues make all the difference at work. I feel the same way about my job; I actually like most of the people I work with and my work. :)

Those office parties where you bring a significant other are... awkward for me. For obvious reasons (lacking in a person to bring), I do tend to skip the rare one when it happens.

Yes, exactly! It definitely makes the day more bearable to have others to talk to while you're slaving away.

And ugh, right? Fortunately it went super well with my sister being there. And the oddly good thing about working for a divorce lawyer is that when I'm asked if I'm dating anyone, and I say no, I usually get something like, "That's probably for the best, dear," in reply, haha.
