Mumblefrotz Credit Card Snafu

Back in February, my wife purchased some merchandise (over $300!) for our Temple gift shop, and paid for it on our credit card. When the merchandise arrived at the Temple office, they didn't notice it had been prepaid, and paid for it again—by check, which has already cleared. Honest mistake, which we get to clean up.

Didja have to pay the money conversion fee, too? I hate that. I always use credit cards while abroad, because the conversion rate is usually better, but I hate hate hate the d*mn conversion fee.

Also, it has now been nearly two years since my trip to Great Britain, and I have not yet gotten my VAT refund.

There wasn't one on the statement. It was purchased in the US, in US$, as opposed to shekelim.
