Tabbie for Me?

So this article got me thinking about tablet PCs. I honestly think I would prefer one to my bulky (though I love her dearly) laptop. The problem is how supported is the Tablet in Linux? My laptop is 2+ years old now and I will eventually need to upgrade. For now she works just fine and I really don't have a need for one. But when it does come

I really want to go tablet when it comes time to upgrade, it won't be for awhile. perhaps I cna get a job where they provide a computer and I will get to pick it :-D

Oh they never let you pick it. You'll be lucky to wind up with a working laptop (which is took me months to get upgraded to) instead of a bulky heavy piece of crap. You should have seen my first machine it was HUGE and old. I finally managed to get upgraded and this one is better but definitely not top of the line.
