The song is fab - just a perfect balance between heart-wrenching (because Moist's such a sympathetic character) and sweetly funny. It works really well in the story and gives it a Horrible autheticity.

I love your writing. This was great: "Whatever this project was, it was as important to Billy as it was to Doctor Horrible. Moist wondered if he should be worried he'd just thought of his friend as two distinct people with differing priorities"

Please write more.

Thank you! I write as often as I can, a lot depends on time and how hard the bunnies are biting.

I don't know how I missed that you're writing Doctor Horrible fic but once I get my brain back? I am so starting at the beginning. I cannot express the awesomeness of this. There might possibly be squeeing involved.

I have no idea how you missed it, but I'm glad you found out! I hope you enjoy them. There's also a prequel for pre-show timeline that's not in the list here, you can find it here

Brilliant job incorporating the lyrics! Makes my head hurt just thinking about all those moving parts.

Gah cliffhanger!!! I hates you. When do we get the next bit?

As always, lovely attention to detail: T-junctions, MegaGlobalHyperDyne Inc. and irradiated illuvium oh my! Thanks for the fic.

Brilliant job incorporating the lyrics!

Entirely thanks to gigglingkat on that. I had the whole song and tune and that just lumped at the end; she figured out how to get it incorporated :-)

Gah cliffhanger!!! I hates you.

*sigh* I am far too familiar with being hated. ;-P

When do we get the next bit?

I'm bad in that I'm not on a schedule with fic, mainly because deadlines give me writer's block like crazy, but also because fate hates me and tends to go 'Ooo! Deadline! Time for a crisis!'.

Whenever the bunny gnaws my brain into shape, more will be up.

I've just read your fic on ff.net, and listened to the music you've put on Moist's part.
The fic is very good, in-character ; Moist is such an underestimated guy ! Even if his powers aren't as badass as Captain Hammer's or Johnny Snow, he's a very cool character and deserves more fics ! I'm glad you made it.
The music is kind of melancholic, but it suits very well to the story. Moist is one of the few to care about Billy, and I think he helps him to somehow remain his feet to the ground.

Very good story, more chapters please !

Thank you! This is definitely a story I will be continuing, but I have quite a few things on the go right now, and work and offline stuff is taking up more of my time than it has any right to. The next section will be Johnny-centric, but Moist will continue to have a significant role in procedings, if all goes according to plan.

Love Moist here and I love/hate the cliff-hanger.

And you actually worked yourself through fake piano software and uploaded the result to give us an idea of the music! I like to think that Joss Whedon started pretty much the same level, maybe with the advantage of having a piano or keyboard. I swear the style of the song (both music and lyrics) fit in with the music of the Sing-Along Blog. I could imagine that you could come up with some pretty good stuff for the next bit but the nasty thing about inspiration is it can't be forced.

I love/hate the cliff-hanger.

I know, and I'm sorry about that. I hadn't anticipated the next section taking so long.

No more singing from anyone, I'm afraid. It kind of took the wind out of my sails, spending so much time and so on getting Moist's song to work.
