-So, Jack's buried from 27AD to 1901AD. 1874 years, give or take a few months. Call it about, let's be generous, thirty minutes for each death and revival? (who knows how he gets the energy or raw materials to keep reviving, but it's all a kind of unexplained handwavey Tardis/Rose magic phenomenon thing anyway) 525,600 minutes a year, 984,974,400 minutes in 1874 years is roughly Jack dying 32,832,480 times, and doing nothing else. Alone. In the dark. HOW IS HE STILL SANE???

Auctor.

I'm going with the fanwank I have read that the ring that John tossed down to Jack was a combination tracker/stasis field. That way Jack never really regenerated at all so he was able to stay sane.

Okay, that works...

I'm kind of hoping that he's just suppressing it really well and at some totally random point in the next season he'll start having claustrophobia, then flashbacks, then go on a raving psychotic rampage and have to be brought back to sanity by Ianto and Gwen. Preferably during a large inconvenient earth-threatening crisis. :-)

Well considering the fact that he has been suppressing the PTSD that had to have developed during the year that never was in Doctor Who, Jack is overdue one total meltdown.

Jack & 10 both have some seriously nice coats

That they certainly do. :-)

don't you yell at inanimate objects too? (I order them around all the time :D)

Well, yes, but it doesn't help. Not a single inanimate object I've yelled at has subsequently followed my orders. :-P Of course, Torchwood might have some alien-tech trick for accomplishing that feat.... hm.

doesn't anyone dig graves anymore to know how they should look?

These days I gather they're mostly dug with earth moving equipment, which technically could explain the squared-offness of Sam and Dean's diggings if they 'borrowed' the cemetary equipment off camera. No backhoes available to be stolen in 27AD Cardiff though.

"27AD? maybe Grey got bored & jumped in a futuristic point&click grave-digging device...."

That would have worked...

Hahaha! Now I want to watch it again. I wasn't spoiled, so I spent half the show going "Noooooo!" Let me know when you hit the end of DW, I'm kinda confused by some stuff in it. :)

I swear I responded to this... *whacks LJ*

There's a DWS4 marathon with the gang in early August, so after that hopefully I'll be caught up. Can't be soon enough though, everywhere I turn there's spoilers :-P
