It was... odd. The frozen chicken breasts I got seem to have been soaked in brine or something. :-P

The potatoes were good, even though there wasn't many, and I wound up using four times the amount of dishes I intended to.

DO NOT PUT WATER ON IT NOR ATTEMPT A FIRE EXTINGUISHER ON IT.

That will only spread the oil around. Leaving the door closed is the best option. I'm also wanting to add that if you could plug up any possible cracks around the door with foil, to do that. The fire will run out of oxygen and go out in its own.

You'll just have to stay up ready to call the firemen if needed.

OTOH, sending hugs for your migraine.

I do know basic fire safety. I just left the door closed until it calmed down enough to take out and deal with. No fire.

Oh, as soon as I was sure the chance of actual fire had past I was laughing about it. This was slightly more imperiling than the turkey incident and a shade less laughable in the moment, but no harm done in the end.

It's always good that the fire alarm doesn't go off; and nothing is actually burning, except, maybe dinner?

The fire alarm has gone off with far less provocation, I'm quite surprised it didn't even let out a peep.

Sigh, I had a fire alarm going off on me once, when I was scrambling eggs, granted, the eggs were a tiny bit burned, and there was a bit too much oil, which was kinda smoking, but still, nothing was on fire! The fire alarm was such a drama queen.
