That's the sad thing about being a spoilerphobe. Having to avoid Twitter. *sigh*

When I was young I always thought that whistling past a graveyard would wake the dead so I would always freak out my friends and do it. We lived across the street from a HUGE graveyard and would hang out and ride bikes there.

Nice review. I was really looking forward to seeing how the heck they would resolve 5x14 and we didn't get anything. I was glad to have Show back, no doubt, but still, I guess I'm pouting a bit. Heh.

I've always heard whistling in a graveyard kept ghosts away, but I wasn't nearly as jacked into superstitions as a child, so I might have had it wrong.

You know when you mentioned zombies in your previous post I was jumping up and down thinking - THAT'S NEXT WEEK'S EP!

I'm still not sure about the headshot thing as Sam told Dean he'd been watching too many Romero movies when he suggested it in CSPWDT (and I believe the zombie chick actually got shot in the forehead and survived!), but I have to say the headshots were absolutely awesome in this ep!

I was thinking about that, too, but handwaved it retroactively that apparently Death's zombies are different than the CSPWDT raised-by-spells zombies... Or the zombies from ItGP,SW, since those, too, got spikes through them...

It's not a handwave--the zombie from Children Shouldn't was visibly allergic to silver, even if it couldn't actually hurt her, and Karen wasn't. Haven't seen Great Pumpkin recently, though. (Wasn't that today's on TNT? Bah ten am classes.)

Yeah I guess they weren't actual real zombies just Death's version!!

-[Hey [info]eilonwy! Spiky clock!\o/]
BWAH. Y'know, I hadn't noticed it when I saw the episode, so thank you muchly for pointing it out. I think the set people are messing with me. This summer I am so totally going to have to find/make screencaps of all the spikey clock uses.

If it's prepubescent, it's probably evil.
As in life, so in Supernatural. Raoul is wise in these ways. :)

-And another law enforcement officer knows about stuff. She should get together with Detective Ballard and Officer Hudak. She could use a support group. *nods*
You mean the random and totally stupid support group from the Nevermore? (Sorry, still bitter about that book...)

Excellent picspam reaction, CK, as always. :)

(And now I have the zombie song from the vid you linked to stuck in mah head. Kill the zombies..)

Sounds like a plan. :-)

True. :-D

No, no, I mean the entirely un-Mary-Sue-generating chat/coffee group that doesn't upstage the main characters at any point and mainly meets every so often to go 'yes, that actually happened' and deal with PTSD they can't tell anyone else about or talk to a critical incident counselor about, and maybe cut a Hunter some slack or tip them off if they happen across another similar situation in future. No "LEO Hunter's club" full of pointedly statistically diverse Mary-Sues. Nooo.

(And now I have the zombie song from the vid you linked to stuck in mah head. Kill the zombies..)

It is a catchy little thing isn't it? :-)
