I think it was great! Very irrational and rambly. I liked the addition of the Castiel hallucination in particular. Or was it? *shifty eyes*

Another bunny sucessfully put to pasture! \o/ *applauds*

Heh. I'm pretty sure it was a hallucination, but only Castiel would know for sure.

Yep. One down, around thirty or more to go, and I hear the not-to-distant rumbling of a possible herd of new ones inbound commencing tomorrow night. :-P

De-lurking to say I really, really liked this - why Dean was so scared. I loved his internal monologues and the way he would work himself into a panic (and - Sam dead! Oh Dean!). I'll be thinking of this story the next time I watch that goofy episode. Thank you!

Beautifully done. Love how well you tread Dean's thoughts here. Seamless merging with the episode and fantastic character voice.

Yum.

This is incredibly intense. I really appreciate the way you get into Dean's head, describe his fears, and relate them to his past. And so many of them are fears for Sam - that seems absolutely right. The episode itself was more funny than anything else - you've put the angst back.

Wonderful last line: "I'm fine," he said, and meant it as much as he ever did. Lovely summing up of Dean's approach to life.

That's just it. All the way through I was going, "For Dean, this is not funny" and I had to try to get that viewpoint on the episode to balance out the perspective.

Lovely summing up of Dean's approach to life.

Thanks. :-)

"For Dean, this is not funny"

Or for Sam, and somewhere I read a story about Sam's breakdown once he was able to stop taking charge and looking for a solution and had time to realise how close he came to losing Dean again.

What would we do without fanfic to fill in the huge gaping holes TPTB leave?

Or for Sam

*nodnod* Very true.

Probably be a great deal more frustrated. :-)
