Reincarnation was REALLY GOOD. I liked the plot of it, and it kept me interested the whole way through. Definitely one I've watched more than once and wouldn't mind watching again.
The Wishing Stairs was . . . ehhh, the previews for it really tell the whole movie? Like, I LIKED it, but it didn't really grab me until around the end when all the stuff started going on.
And Audition is just. One you have to see. Like, I've only seen it once and it was back when it was first recommended to me but. It's just. One you have to see. It's like, a staple of Japanese horror. But I'll probably never watch it again because it hits one of my squicks and /)_(\
YEAH AUDITION IS INTENSE just thinking about it gives me heebie jeebies.
Ichi the Killer is done by the dude who did Suicide Club iirc? IT LOOKS GOOD but yeah I'm kinda >.> at it too. Especially since I'm dipping into the Korean horror now and thinking about rewatching some of the first ones I've seen.
Oh man, you have like every one of my favorite Asian horror movies on here.
FTR ICHI THE KILLER IS... IT'S... I'M NOT EVEN SURE HOW TO DESCRIBE IT. It doesn't actually seem like horror to me, just a really really really fucked up movie.
I WENT FOR ALL THE POPULAR ONES now I'm just clicking around randomly on ones that sound good. :|a
That's what it SEEMS like, kinda like uh. Old boy? The Korean one? Idk, I'm not really into the ones that are like, slashfests or Saw-like. JUST THE COVER I'VE SEEN SQUICKS ME.
I actually used to own it on DVD because it was on sale at an anime con and I'd heard it was like, a staple if you were into Asian horror! So I bought it and watched it and went, "... WELL. That was, uh. Okay, I can definitely cross this one off my list!" And I never watched it again. I kind of feel the same way about Suicide Club-- good to see once, never again. :|b
Suicide Club I would watch only to see if I could understand it more the second time around. I LIKED IT THE FIRST TIME but it was kind of like ". . . :???"
THAT WOULD DEPEND definitely Ju-On and Ringu if you haven't seen them, followed by Pulse and Infection. Though most of the ones on my watched list are pretty good. :|a What kind of horror movies are you into?
Have you seen To Sir, With Love (a.k.a. Bloody Reunion or My Teacher or Teacher's Mercy, apparently, thanks Wiki)? It's a Korean film and I only got like halfway through it, and I hear the ending gets SUPER CONFUSING AND BIZARRE, but the part I did see was freaky as hell and intriguing and I love the premise. I would love to watch it all someday hnnnngh. BUT I'M SCARED TOO
The premise is that an elderly teacher is nearing the end of her life and her former student, who cares for her, contacts her old students to gather for a reunion! And like six or so of them show up for a weekend at her country home, but as the movie goes on you realize that this SWEET OLD TEACHER was actually abusive and fucked up and that the students may or may not actually be there to have a nice little party lol. BUT THEN OTHER STUFF HAPPENS AND!!!

Wishing Stairs...It's weird but I love it because of the ballet aspect of it. I heart ballet and all and I really identified with the chubby girl.
I've Audition is INTENSE.
And I've heard that Ichi the Killer is a good one but I dunno. I see it every time I'm in Best Buy and I >________________> at it XD
