Work sucks when you want to read stuff. But anyway, excellent job on the chapters nine and ten. It's strange to read about a break between the Brothers, or at least to read it in a way that is convincing but you've done an excellent job. I am rather concerned about Al at this point (as he is my favorite in this tale) but your descriptions of what Ed and Winry are going through seemed quite genuine.

The latest Zwischenzeit is interesting. I enjoyed the way Alphonse did the math in his head. That was an interesting device. It cut down on the 'musing' while giving a clear idea of his train of thought. Short, biter-sweet and, in my view, the best so far.

That last line stuck with me. Sometimes facing the truth is difficult. I wonder what our German friend will do now?
