It's been ages since I've posted, but there's really nothing to update because nothing's been happening in my life except for work, work work. Seriously, work is sucking so hard right now. I have been reading a bunch of books lately. Since I had some Amazon gift cards from the holidays, I decided to get a Kindle. I had been kind of resisting ereaders since they came out, but there were a few things that changed my mind:

So this is supposed to be my long weekend this month. I was thinking about maybe going on a little road trip or something, to get out of town for a few days. BUT NO. So far this year, I have read four books. The first one I read was The Sugar Queen by Sarah Addison Allen, it was a sweet and charming read. If you like Alice Hoffman's style of writing, this is very similar and in the vein of magic realism.
