Some good friends of mine were scheduled to marry on a Saturday in March, 1993. Then, a major snow storm started up the East Coast, dumping snow from the Gulf Coast to New England. They ended up having the minister come over to her parents' house at 9pm on that Friday night and marrying them, and they spent their honeymoon snowed in at her parents' house :-)

Steve and I got married in Jan. 1977 in the midst of the coldest winter on record. It snowed, melted, snowed, melted for a couple of weeks before. On the morning of the wedding it snowed some more. The only reason our wedding came off okay is that by then most of the streets had been plowed and salted.

Tyler has gone off to the wedding which appears to still be taking place. Don't know how the flowers, catering, etc. are going to get there or if the parking lot will be plowed when they do. But it's hard to tell two people their wedding isn't going to happen! I just hope everyone gets home safely after it's all done.
