One true friend.

TRUST--I just don't know how to define it right now. By the time I shared my story with you, it simply means that the start of a good friendship is expected. I gave my trust to one good friend. Indeed, this good friend is really one of my confidants in college. It seems that I trusted too much. Surprisingly, among all of them, you were the one who broke my trust.

COMPANIONSHIP--Being a good friend means that regardless of your activities within the day, if your friend needs you, your plans will just be secondary. However, this morning, I was asking help from two of my friends. A close friend of mine didn't even bother asking me what happened. The other one just told me that he had other plans for the day. I just can't believe that when it's the time that I stopped reaching out, friendship really deteriorates. Lesson: (1) do not be too dependent with your friends; there's a big possibility that it's not mutual. (2) Stop reaching out, it's their turn to prove that they're worth fighting for.

There's more to come after college. I know. I'd be meeting a lot of good friends--if there's a chance of me rediscovering what friendship really means. I was a good friend indeed. I do not usually share my story with them; I ask them about their stories. I make sure that we are sharing lives.

FRIENDS are about sharing stories, sharing lives. It's not about being present in all those gimmicks that one usually has. Friendship is all about memories. It's not about plans nor about being hip. I thought I had good friends. Apparently, not all of them are "good". Right now, I won't be giving my TRUST to anybody else. I'll still have my friends. But I'll skip sharing my stories with them as of the moment.

Last night, I just talked to one good friend from school. She's not actually a friend who I usually hang out with, nor I call up everyday. She's just someone that I know that can talk to about random stuff. It's nice to catch up with her.
