Reality finally sinks in. It's distressing; yet it made us feel hopeful of what's in store for each one of us after leaving us. He truly is one life-changer and a sign to seek for excellence. Yes, excellence. If not for him, I would have defined myself as an excellent Lasallian. On one point, it would be disagreeable. He taught me the true meaning of excellence. It does not only revolve around acquiring honors but what one should do after. The distinctions that we receive are mere recognition and we should not stop for aiming for more. Excellence is about the continuous passion of a person to continue achieving for more. It tells us not to stop learning and dreaming. We should have high ambitions because nothing can stop you from achieving those. We should seek for failures and not avoid them. If that's the only way for us to learn, then so be it. If in mistakes we find genuine thoughts about matters, then we should aim for mistakes if that's the only way. What's important is WE LEARN and we shouldn't stop DREAMING and LEARNING.
