So very beautiful! A great B-Day present for dauntless! Thank you so much...and, if this is not an inopportune time to ask...when I do get my copy of Lt. Samuel Blackwood (deceased)...could I somehow send it to you so that I can have your autograph alongside joyful_molly's? I think that would be the neatest thing ever! Well, thank you for allowing me to ramble on.

Thank you! It was lovely to paint, too. :)

As for the book: as good a time as any to ask, I think. And I wouldn't mind in the least to autograph your copy of the book. We'll find a way to do that, I'm sure. I'm honoured you asked. :)

OMG ! That's the most beautiful, gorgeous, fantastic present ever ! It's so beautiful I'm stunned. You read into my mind, took my fav dream, and made it true, and thousands times better. There's James sitting at the most elegant harpsichord I've ever seen, and Andrew with his beloved flute (a perfect 18th century flute !), and one of my fav Shakespeare's sonnet, and the music sheets of Canzonetta sull'Aria (additional squeee !), and the beautiful clothes, the fabulous lively colours with James'frock matching his lovely eyes, the hair, the faces, the loving smiles (and the hands and the legs !!! hands and legs, hand and legs, hands and legs - I love hands and legs ! ^^). And look at Andrew's hands on James'shoulder, and the encouraging, affectionate smile on his handsome face, and James's love and happiness shining in his eyes. It's all so finely drawn, it's all so filled with beauty, joy, and creative talent, it's such a perfect artwork that I do not find the right word to describe it. Magnificent does not even start to express my ( ... )

Well happy birthday to Dauntless, though I do not know the lady. But I do love your artwork!! Beautiful! I LOVE the amount of motion in this one. I can almost hear the sheet music hitting the floor.

dauntless_2005 is a lovely lady. The moment I get you into 18th century Royal Navy geekery, I'll introduce you to her. *g*

And it makes me very happy that you like the painting! :D If more of the sheet music flutters to the floor, it is highly likely that the frock coats will follow soon after... *naughty grin*

Happy to know you like it! *^_^*
If the boys play, you may listen. As long as you don't tap your foot to the music, that is. ;)

Also, extra brownie points for most appropriate icon! :D
