*is incredibly lucky to have awesome friends* So many wonderful offers! I'll have to clone myself, then. :D

Seriously, your loft sounds lovely - I really hope I can make my nest there someday. :) And I really think that I'd love to help with chores and stuff; that's always much more fun when you don't have to do it all alone. And we'd chat in French all the time! *giggles*

Give your hubby and lovely daughter a hug from me!

Pixie's donating the basket, Max the bowls and I the books and the internet. Interested? :D

Interested?

You have to ask?!

O_O Pixie's basket and Max's bowls?! How could I resist such a generous offer?! I'd be your cat any day, you know that! =D *drags her big green pillow into the corner and neatly stacks all the art supplies beside it*

Heh, you know that you're welcome here *anytime*. I'll get a new big huge bed on Friday, so my old one is promoted to daybed/sofa in the living room. Means: no more ratty purple sofa for guests to sleep on, but a real bed! Whee!

I'd even let you play with Old Cuddy's tin figure. :)

So - weekend of being spoiled always only a phone-call away, m'dear.

Big huge bed sounds lovely! Am happy for you and just a tiny bit jealous considering the nasty old thing I've got to sleep on here... *g*
But I will not hear anything bad about the ratty purple sofa - it was extra comfy, especially with the bonus cats on it! ;o)

I have far too much respect to treat Old Cuddy's tin figure like a common toy ~ but I'd be happy to paint his portrait.
And speaking of weekends and getting spoiled and stuff: weekends sound good, and weekends put to some creative use sound even better, don't you think? *g* Be that cookie baking and cookie eating or other stuff...

High-res pictures of redhaired yetis = Nellas reduced to puddle of squealing fangrrl-goo.

O:-) *whistles*

*laughs and hugs*
I have awesome friends! Guess I'll have to clone myself or take a round trip. One of my nests will definitely be in your corner beside the kitty basket! :D

I know how that feels about wanting to do something but the practical things like money and not wanting to live in a box get in the way.

I just bought a desk today. It's the only piece of furniture I have besides a blow up mattress, but if you're ever in the states it's open. ;)

Oh, yeah. That was one of the things that tipped the scales when I had to make my decision after school: either study something I love to do as a hobby, and quite likely end up without job - or study something that interests and fascinates me that allows me to earn the money to keep the hobby (as just that).
Back then I was rather rational, and thought I'd do the sensible thing. Right now, I'm not so sure anymore... I guess if I was 19 again with the knowledge and experience I have at 25, I'd at least try to get into art school... Who knows?!
I will keep the hobby and maybe try to do it semi-professionally on the side. :)

Or I'll simply drop my blow-up mattress beside yours. *g*

Oh yeah. I was just talking to someone the other day that I'd love to write all the time, but it's so unpredictable I couldn't. (I crave stability like a thirsty man in the desert.)

Still, I love archives and history even though the education of it sometimes seems like it's worth too much.

I could never do a Creative Writing program either though.

Me too.

I'd suggest looking into illustrating children's book, but I don't think they have much call for drawing naked men. *g* Of course, if they ever do "Sesame Street: The Birds and The Bees," you're in!

If I ever need illustrations for a book, you'll be the first person I think of.

Or I'll simply drop my blow-up mattress beside yours. *g*
Feel free. My roommates have cute cats, and the room is certainly big enough for two!
