The lastest bit of silliness that my brain came up with after the AWE woe avalanche on my f-list.
I've witnessed many efforts to deal with the third part of Disney's PotC, great and small. Whatever the result of this movie, whatever your opinion about it ~ it's certainly done a great job of bringing back life to the fandom.

Those are lovely dresses, and hairstyles! You could add me as a somewhat plump cross-dressing civilian secretary in the background, or possibly as Gillette's wooden-legged Killick-like cook, brandishing a ladle ;) I think I'd look too matronly in a dress.
What a good fencing stance Molly has there! You can tell she knows what she's doing :)

I'd love to add you to the "Navyboy Protection Force" someday! Might I bother you for a short description of yourself so I can get it right? A pic would be awesome, but only if you'd ever feel comfortable sharing one with me... :)
And don't worry, those are slimming pencils. Molly and I would look quite matronly as well in those dresses if I didn't use them. I draw, ergo I'm boss. And where can you lose a few pounds with one pencil stroke? Artistic license - you gotta love it. ;D

Squee! I would be delighted and honoured to be added to the Women's Naval Volunteer Corps :) Particularly if slimming pencils are involved ;) See this post for details:

Though I personally don't like the "redhead wearing green" cliché all that much ~ I think Gillette might just be able to pull it off if it's a muted dark green. We'll see...
Do we have a deal? ;)
Also, I really have to think about drawing a second part to the one above - the response to it was overwhelming. And how could I resist including a pretty redhead like you?! ;) The colour suits you, mylady!
Clearly, T&T have NO idea what they've done... *eg*

Glad you like the pic. Groves and the Marines made good use of the muskets, I'm sure. ;)

They brought Barbosa back so they can bring James back. Plus that Gatsbian light at the end of the film...hmmm...me wonders, me wonders...

Love and happy energy is very much appreciated, and give Becky a big smooch from me! <3<3<3

I love the amount of details you put in the clothes and hairdoes. The happy and grateful smile of Mr Norrington to Mr Gillette is enough to make a rock melt.
And now I want a sword and a corset too ! :)

Simple rule about my drawings: the more fun I have with it, the more detail I put into a pic. I guess I had waaaay too much fun with this one. *ggg*
Next time the "Navyboy Protection Force" gets together, be sure to be there. Sword and dress will be provided by me and my pencils. Perfect fit guaranteed, absolutely no bad hair day! Like I said to galadhir above, I'd need a short description of yourself so I can get your 18th century version right. Photo would be awesome, but only if you'd feel comfy with me knowing. ;)

Some time ago I posted some (silly) pics of myself taken at Venice (not the visit to the Naval Museum, this was almost a year before, during the Carnival). I think they... may fit the specific purpose (warning: in the pics I'm wearing contact lenses, but I use glasses too ^^. And I'm by no way anorexic *G*).

BTW, Titanic took sail yesterday. Hope no icebergs come in its way ;)

Thank you for your trust! Those pictures are awesome, and not silly at all ~ and I really have to agree: you are pretty! Especially with the Commodorial hat! :D
I'd love to see those costumed people myself one day, and then take an extensive tour of the Naval Museum. *g*
I'll be watching out for the Titanic from my little lighthouse! *squee*
