as usual, i haven't been keeping up with this thing, & as a result, i have already started school. boo. however, the fall weather is fabulous!

happy august
i know i'm a few days late, but whatevs. just wanted to say, i'm officially DONE!!!!!!!!!!! with summer stuff, that is. no more classes until september, which i know is only 4 weeks, away, but i'm definitely going to enjoy these 4 weeks of no schoolwork. :D -
more procrastinating

so because i'm starting to get sick of my research & timeripple insisted, i'm doing a post at long last. things have been busy & i suppose it serves me right to have taken a history course in the summer when it's so hot & humid that i can't concentrate & don't want to do anything even though i have to write a research paper at the end of it all.

humidity & itchiness
today was uber nasty weather-wise. 90 degree weather & lots of humidity. naturally it was also the day i had an appointment with the allergist to get tested (finally). so in addition to enduring the nasty dirty-sauna-like weather, i had to suffer through a series of large itchy bumps on my arms to determine what i was allergic to ( Read more... ) -

i know this usually refers to hot, nasty days in august, but these days, it's been so muggy & the apt's been so stuffy, that it has felt that way. blegh.

as usual, my plans to be more diligent about posting have gone astray. however, i am finally done with the spring semester & it was a bit of a doozy. so glad that's over, but now it's the start of summer classes. i had one weekend of summer vacay, & now it's back to the grind. i think everything's over by the first or second week of august, ( Read more... ) -
