I think it is safe to say everyone in UK is totally fed-up with our government's inability to solve "Brexit" (UK leaving EU). I saved this beer until last, the remaining bottle of the several different beers I bought before Christmas. It is Bewdley Brewery's 10th Anniversary Ale. The brewery has been established 10 years, so they made a special 10% alcohol by volume beer to celebrate ( Read more... )

Not a beer I bought for Christmas, but it was a "guest ale" in my local Lidl supermarket. It is "Raven Ale" made by the Orkney Brewery (see https://www.orkneybrewery.co.uk ). This Christmas I did not buy many different types of beer. The one I liked best last year was no longer on sale locally. "Old Scrooge" appealed to me as I am no longer a young man and am careful (tight) with my money.

in late September I visited a local cafe to try "green hop beer" which is being produced by the newly established micro-brewery "Ledbury Real Ales" in farm buildings across the road from the cafe.
