Things left to buy for OVFF.

1. New jeans. And when I say 'new', I mean that I will be trying jeans on, like, the Friday before the convention, at the very latest. They may be used jeans -- hand-me-downs from Cat, or maybe something off the rack at Buffalo Exchange -- but they will be new to me, and that's what I'm going to care about ( Read more... )

I found some good socks last year at Meijer that were purple & black with stars & cats. ;) I know you don't have Meijer out there, but you *will* have Meijer once you're in Ohio, and maybe you can get to one to check it out. Hopefully they'll have one nearby.

I get all of my socks at Old Navy. I generally buy them on the after the Holiday sale (where they are ridonkulously cheap) but they are soft, warm (the winter ones are), and comfortable. They also last for years (I have a pair that I still wear from 1998 that haven't dissolved or worn through yet). Actually, I get a lot of clothes from Old Navy and mostly from the clearance sales because I can get nice shirts for under $5.00 (often $2-3). If you don't shop there, you should really consider it.
