And so, the weekend.

Today, I wound up spending pretty much, well, today with Cat, Rey, and their friend Adrian, who afforded us the rare opportunity to wander the Valley Fair Mall with a battering ram of our very own (AKA, 'her wheelchair'). People are sometimes kind of dicks about letting wheelchairs through. People sometimes don't actually need to continue having ( Read more... )

Adding you... Today was definitely a further eye-opener, and fodder for sociological commentary on our society's discomfort with disability. I think that each one of us at some point had an opportunity to re-educate someone in the crowd. Schweet. *evil grin*

I like re-educating crowds. It's funnier than fire-bombing them.

Also, hi!

38D -- that's my size. Sorta. I still think of myself as a 38C, but gaining an inch of pectoral muscle bumped me to a D (they still look the same to an observer, despite this) and my hefty back muscles made me a 40. So I'm a 40D who thinks -- and looks -- like a 38C.

Talk about breaking the brain.

I kinda dig that new 'measure everybody and then give them the Box o'Bras' thing they do now at VS. I discovered I'd gone up a number I don't know how long ago, and hey, that might be why bras were uncomfy all the time.

Isn't that neat? I was looking at strapless bras. I found none, but the search continues!

Keep in mind that

1) Bra sizes are not standardized

2) So much fuss lately about 'real women's bodies' might be prompting an under the table labeling adjustment.

Still. Mind BENDING. Yeah.

Well, I know I've reduced around the chest and ribs, is the thing; I thought I'd dropped to a 36DD, but that seemed a little odd, since my ribs have never gone below a 38 before. When the measuring strap says '38', and the equation is 'two inches of strap = one cup size', well...

At least this explains why the 36DD fit sorta funny.
