Thank you! Their interaction is lovely, and I love the foreshadowing of things to come. =)

I'm glad you liked it -- thanks! I'm very ish on 'Angel', and spent a good chunk of the morning reading Doyle quotes from season one to try and get him right.

Annabelle, in the Gaelic, means either 'joy' or 'peace'.

I like it. It's part sad Irish wake, part kitchen party, and it's got the same feel as some of Neil's death comics.

Nicely done.

You won't kill me for comparing you to Neil will you?

*hugs*

I love this and the people smelled of nothing at all as a first subtle ominous sign... of course I knew what was going on before Angel did, but I *still* got shivers. And I like him not knowing, it walks the line between the dense thing he's got going episodically and dream logic and not *wanting* to know.

ice and whiskey on his tongue, ancient stone and older sky, loam and loneliness and the quiet madness of the heath

I adore this and whole concept of the blood of Saints on tap. That it's borderline blasphemous just makes it better.

“Cordelia would’ve hated this,” he said, watching the singers as they laughed, losing the melody and punching one another in the arms. “She’d have called it tacky. I don’t know why you’d want her here ( ... )

Nice. I love the mix of earthy and otherworldly that you have going here - it has a genuinely dreamlike feel to it.
