I had a book come out yesterday, which is no longer the all-consuming event that it used to be, but still results in the next day suffering from a huge case of the blahs. I do not want to do anything. I want to sprawl in my bed and pet the cats and not actually do anything that requires thought ( Read more... )

I'm glad that the foot is getting better, I know it's been terrible for you.

I will be starting Sparrow Hill Road tonight (and possibly finishing as I have a friend with very limited money looking to borrow it when I finish it) and am quite looking forward to spending time with Rose Marshall.

I feel like, by forcing myself to be more disciplined and firm, I have created the opportunity to be more loose and free.

In the best of all possible worlds, this is how it's supposed to work, I think. Go you.

That must be hard, but it is very professional!

I know for me it helps to keep the routine. A day won't usually throw me off, but if I miss more than a couple, even if it's for something I love, I get edgy.
