Wicked Girls is likely one of the best filk songs ever :) The reason I feel that way is that it combines fantasy/fictional characters with real characters / friends, and that is an extremely cool and touching thing. It's what filk is about, to me.
So ... me = pleased as punch with Wicked Girls winning!!!
I am not as fond of Evil Laugh (I am not that fond of *our* dinosaur song either and try to get away with never playing it) - but people seem to like dinosaur songs *g*

Well, the one on the album is already pretty surf-rock in flavour. It's a clean sound, but it's hardly a single-guitar acoustic arrangement.

I suppose you could get all punk-metal on it if you wanted, but some of its charm for me is the backing vocals, and I'm not sure that'd translate styles quite as well.
