I am amazed and awed at how little time it's taken to display thousands of hours of your work to the public. It seems like almost no time at all since you met The Agent, and now suddenly One Salt Sea is on the shelves.

I'm not surprised you're worn through. It's been quite a roller coaster, but I wouldn't trade riding it with you for anything.

In addition to really enjoying your work, I've also enjoyed the little insights into the business that reading your journal(s) has afforded us. I pay more attention to when I buy books (Stopped by B&N on the way in this morning)and have vowed never to ask an author when their next book is coming out. I will never forget building the Fortress Of DDP for you at Duckon, and look forward to seeing (and bodyguarding if necessary) you at Chicon.
