Those wacky, wacky stars.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): Maybe it's time you did something in return for all the free advice I give you. From a karmic perspective it might not be healthy for you to continue to take, take, take while never giving back. So this week, for a change, how about if you compose an oracle for me? Or send me a nice present -- nothing big or expensive, ( Read more... )

Thank you for all that you've shared, and continue to share. I, for one, fully understand that there's a huge amount of New Stuff in your life now, and when plates are overfull, things fall off.

And, not to be alarmist, it may get worse. Suppose, for a moment, that the best of all possible outcomes occurs, and Rosemary and Rue hits the Amazon and NYT best seller lists. You find yourself on stage in Australia, holding the Campbell. (Breathe, dear.)

At that point, those nine hundred pulls become nine thousand, at least. While I have no direct experience that's relevant here, I would bet that being a star in filk (which you are) is at least one order of magnitude less demanding than being, say, Neil Gaiman.

All I'm saying is, you're a good person, and you're human. Whatever happens, do what you need to do to take care of yourself, and Don't Feel Guilty.

I think I've managed to collect all the art I want for my place. A print from mamishka. A museum-glassed dye-sub photoprint from ladyallyn. A digital sketch from vixyish. A couple of original comic boards you might recognize. :)

It does me no small pleasure to know that the stuff I surround myself with was made by people who know me, people who don't have to ask "now, who are you?" when they autograph stuff for me.

You believe in fairies? Yep. I *know* there are trolls. I crossed his bridge twice this morning, just 'cause.
