Bankrupt pants cat is not clicking back any further.

Having just done a skip-back 250 -- 250, people? Really? Are you entirely sure that number is accurate? And PS, if you've ever wondered why I friend people to this journal at such a glacial rate, that is a large part of why -- I have thrown up my hands and declared that nothing short of a zombie apocalypse is going to keep me clicking. Also, a ( Read more... )

Glacial? Your flist is currently at 287. (And it does my ego good to be on it. :-) ) Mine is at 41. I have no idea how you keep up even when you're at home and constantly connected. Honestly, it's impressive.

I do periodically get people complaining at me, and even dropping me from their own reading lists -- I'm normally a pure amnesty zone for friending/unfriending, but when you make a point of telling me you're doing it because I'm a bad person for not adding you, I get a little bruised -- for not having a longer list. I'm just too tired to deal.

Well, count me in the camp of those who regard anyone who pulls that sort of emotional blackmail as as unworthy of notice. Despite my joke above, I promise you that if you ever feel the need to drop me for time considerations, I won't take it the least bit personally.

(If you ever have an urge to drop me because I've done something to piss you off, on the other hand, I hope you'll let me know about it.)

There is a reason I consider my "friends" list a "subscription to journals" list, and that would be why. I am delighted and flattered if someone I fangirl at respect and/or admire subscribes to my journal in turn. I am unsurprised if someone popular does not subscribe in return.

Or... Well, I mostly post about being tired, kid-stuff, occasionally wildlife in the back yard, and Dragcave.net dragons. And the stray bit of fic. Skip my journal; it's more often boring than not. O:>

To quote matociquala's Presumptuous Cat:

Monkey? Did you miss me?
Monkey? Are you dead?
Monkey, you have your head on MY PILLOW.
Monkey, where's my breakfast?

... and doesn't it just warm the cockles of your heart that I post so rarely that I do not add significantly to your reading work? :)

I have named my tiny omega-raptor Smallpox. He was rejected from the pack for having been officially eradicated. THEY'LL BE SORRY ONE DAY! He is snuggling in my shoes with my killer bee, Miss Honeybee.

"I would eat live eels for a nap right now."

Does eating live eels help you to sleep? I could do with sleep...

Maybe using the live eels to distract Lilly would be more effective.
